Isaac Syverson

Sociologist Martin Seymour Lipset used to say: “A person who knows only one  country, knows no  country.” This is something I’ve known to be true ever since I  spent the summer of 2007 in Caracas,  Venezuela  learning Spanish. I grew up in a  small town in rural  Minnesota called Jackson.  I  chose REEES as  my  major in order to acquire global perspective. Study abroad experience:
Summer 2015 - Tehran University - Intensive Persian language program
Winter/Spring 2015 - Moscow State University - Russian language program
